Pup-Friendly Pubs!

My mom and I were very excited to come across this article of dog-friendly bars in Chicago. I LOVE to go out on the town with my mom and in the summertime we often go to many of the restaurants and bars here in the city that allow dogs like me to sit on the patio and enjoy lunch and a nice cold drink. But once it gets cold here in the Windy City, I do mean it gets cold- BRRR!! My toes freeze when we go for walks, there are less places that will let me go inside with my mom, and I end up stuck at home when she goes out to dinner with her friends.... But, now that we know of these places that let the doggers INSIDE- I'll get to go with my mom even in the winter, how great is that!!

Thanksgiving was great!

I had a great Thanksgiving with my family. I went down to Indianapolis to visit my grandparents and it was so fun! I wore my Sophisticated Pup Monica Coat and everyone loved it! I was a big hit! My mom was nice enough to sneak me pieces of turkey under the table while everyone was eating, she's the best! I really wanted some pumpkin pie, because I've never had it before, but my mom says no sweets, since I don't brush my teeth all too often she doesn't want me to get cavities. We came back to Chicago last night, and my mom and I have been snoozing on the couch all day. Thanksgiving can wear you out! We have a big week ahead of us, me being the sales dog and all, we have to go visit some of the pet boutiques here in the Chicago area. So, we're getting all rested up now. I LOVE to get to go to work with my mom, it is great that she takes me with her to visit the boutiques. Sometimes they give me treats, and sometimes there are other dogs in there that I get to chat with. I just love making new friends! Well, we're still in our sleepy after -Thanksgiving mode, so back to the coziness of our couch! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving too!

The new dog T-Shirt line is here!

I am soooo excited! My mom launched the newest Sophisticated Pup t-shirt line last week, and I love it! Not a day has gone by that I haven't sported one of the shirts. They look great! Wouldn't you know it, we slacked on our blog again. I guess my mom forgets I can't type all that well with my paws considering I don't have any thumbs!! Welcome to our ALL NEW BLOG!!!!

We admit, we kind of let our blog slack...it was against our better judgement, but my mom was finishing grad school and of course the wonderful Chicago summer has been taking up her time a little too much lately causing her to forget to help me blog!! I'm not the best typist, so my mom has to help me. Well anyways, back to what has been going on in my life, my mom's and with SP!!!!


First of all, we have been going to many PAWS Chicago events lately, that is mom's favorite animal rescue organization here in the city, she's on the junior board. They always put on wonderful events for all of us doggers to come play at!! I, of course always come wearing a stunning SP outfit!! (Usually mom designs a one-of-kind outfit for me) All the other dogs and their moms always drool over my apparel!!! Last night we went to the annual Beach Party held at Castaway's on North Avenue Beach. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the PAWS Beach Party!! This was the second year I went and the third that my mom went! She went one time before I was born!!! It was great, my buddy Hillary was there, play I got to meet lots of other dogs. I am going to include some pics of my mom and I and Hillary and her mom Kristen.
